Stratford Summer Music Festival Opening Night Fireworks

Every summer Stratford hosts a music festival, it isn't the type that has big name people playing in it and it doesn't involve drugs or large parties but it's more geared towards old people as they make up most of Stratford's population and most of the tourist that come to Stratford are seniors as well. Each year they have fireworks to signal the start of the festival and this is the first time I wasn't working so I was able to try my hand at firework pictures which I think turned out very nice. The light on the left-hand side of the pictures is a street lamp and the small white light in the bottom right is the moon. The last two pictures are my favorite ones that I was able to take.

Country drive and a fly

This weeks post is mostly from one drive out in the country. The first photo is of a horse walking to the barn in the golden light. The next picture is of a couple of pastures from on top of the hill. The next picture is from beside a church in the country it is the cemetery of that church that looked old and nice in the setting sun. The last picture is of a fly sitting on a flower, I used my macro lens for that picture and I was able to make the eyes on the fly pop out.

Deer and a sunset

I know I missed a post last week but that was because of exams, I apologize for that. This week's post is a deer which was one of the animals I wanted to photograph this summer the other being a fox. I was driving down a dirt road and out of the corner of my eye I spotted a head sticking up out of the wheat and I stopped and did the fastest lens change I had ever done and started shooting away. The main reason I went out for my drive was to get a sunset photo which is what I was able to do.
