Inside a grapefruit

I was eating oranges and grapefruit one day at lunch when i held up a piece of grapefruit up to the light and it looked cool like with all the tissues and veins it kind of looked human and so I got my tripod and held it up to the light and took a picture like this whichIi think looks pretty cool. I had a low aperture and in return a high shutter speed.

New years birds

Happy new year everyone. To start the new year right I went and took some bird pictures in my backyard. The first photo is of a Black Eyed Junco on the roof of my bird feeder and the second one is of a female Northern Cardinal in the hedge in my backyard.

Anyone have an idea?

Most light bulbs do not look like this anymore so when you find one its good to take a picture no matter what the condition of it is. This light bulb has a bunch of scratches all over it so that's what the marks are but that is not what you should be focusing on anyway you should be focusing on the element inside the bulb itself, but i'm not really one to tell you what to do so just look at whatever part of the picture you want.

Birds of my backyard

Yet again birds are coming to my backyard to eat the seeds i put out for them. Many different types of birds come such as the black eyes junco in the first picture or the black capped chickadee in the bottom picture they are my two favorite kinds of bird but there so tiny and scary really easy so getting an up close picture of them is hard at times more so for the junco then the chickadee but if your lucky and are patience you can get almost any picture you want.

Country church

Sorry I have not been all that active in posting I have been busy with work, school and swimming but I'm now in Xmas break and hopefully will be able to post more now that I have more free time. Today I went out for a drive in the country and I've seen this church before many times but I have never had my camera with me before but this time i made sure to bring it along as I knew I was going to be passing this church and I just like this church because its simple but elegant. It is a untied church in case anyone wanted to know.

First snow of the year

This past weekend was the first snow fall of the year it did not last all that long as its all gone by Thursday which is today but well it was here it made for good photos and a pair of wet socks. I went for a walk down to the nearest park and its semi wooded so I took some pictures of the trail heading through the trees covered in snow, then I did a slight bit of editing on Adobe Photoshop Express.

Bird feeder back up

It's that time of the year where the weather gets cold and the birds start to find it harder to find food so that's where people can jump in and help thy can put up bird feeders so the birds don't go hungry this winter and if your lucky you may be able to get some nice pictures like i did just now which some black capped chickadees.

Fall walk

Today I went for a walk in the woods. I went to a bit of woods i've never been in before and there wasn't really any trails but it was okay because it meant you could just wonder. The woods was made out of maple trees and all of the leafs were yellow and looked very nice in the sun light.

Fall Iris

This past weekend these irises started to come out and tried to bloom but it was to cold and wet so they just stayed wrapped up and fell on the ground surrounding them. It then rained so the flowers got covered in water drops and really if you don't have a picture of water drops are you really a photographer at all?

Flapping Ducks

Happy Thanksgiving everyone today me and my family went for a walk down by the lake to feed some ducks and that's where I got the idea to take pictures of them flapping there wings because they seem to do it a lot. So later today I went down again with more corn and got a few pictures of them flapping there wings which I think turned out well. I used S/800, F 5.6 and ISO 3200.
