My final project for photography class is macro eye photography the past two weeks I've been working on it and here is some of the final product, I have around 12 eye photos I'm going to submit and these were all taken with 1/250, f,10-14 and ISO 100 using studio lights and my 100 mm macro lens. The fly in the title is in reference to the bottom picture which I took last night of a fly I found out in the garden and who did not fly away thankfully. 

I apologize for not posting at all last week I was really busy with school and work and stuff but here's this week's post on time too. I finished up my portfolio for macro and am now working on my final project for a photography class which is eye photography. In this post, tho is mostly macro photography. The first picture is of a swan that was walking across the school soccer field when it turned and started flying/running away from me.The second picture is a bubble bee that I found on my driveway. The third and final photo are two flowers that I can't name but I took that photo in the same garden as I took one of the lilies. The fourth photo is a lily that I found in one of Stratford's garden that I used my macro lens for.

Sorry for being a day late on this post I was just so busy this weekend with work and school and soccer on TV. This past week I saw a baby raccoon on one of my walks during photography, A storm hit last night and it turned the sky into the fire and I did some more macro photography of a new pine tree sapling, a group of daisy flowers in the grass and of a dandelion. 

This past week I went on a field trip to the AGO in Toronto which is the first photo you see here. The next photos minus the last one were all taken during my nature walks when I was working on my wildlife portfolio. Those photos were all taken near the river in Stratford. The first nature photo is of the Red Eared Slider turtle which is an invasive species in Ontario, the next photo is a mallard duck sleeping, next is a mute swan which Stratford is famous for, next is a white breasted nuthatch. The last photo I took outside in my front yard of a gold finch above my bird bath.

Last Sunday I went down to Rondeau Provincial park on the shore of Lake Erie to go take some pictures of birds as it's the annual migration. The first two pictures are of an Eastern Phoebe which is a very calm bird I found. The third and fourth pictures are of a male and female American Goldfinch. The fifth picture is of some kind of sparrow I'm not sure what kind yet has there are a few that look like that. The sixth picture is a White Breasted Nuthatch and the seventh picture is of a Rose Breasted grosbeak. The next two pictures are just plants that I thought looked nice and the tenth picture is of a Yellow Warbler that I saw everywhere but it would not get close enough for me to take a proper picture of it. The last picture is almost identical to the one I took last year of the same butterfly.

This Sunday post is all about star trails which I've gotten a bit obsessed about and a morning dove that was on my fence. The star trail picture you see with the clouds in the bottom left is taken over and hour and has some pictures removed as there was to much cloud. The way I take star trail pictures is that I set my camera up on a tripod and i get a remote shutter and lock that so it takes a photo every 30 seconds and then I leave and do other things. The star trail picture without the clouds is taken over a time period of one and a half hours. I combine all of the pictures I take in Photoshop and lighten them up. The dove was sitting on my fence when I let my dog out and I went and took a picture and that's about it.

Here is your Sunday post. For this week I have been mainly focusing on buildings and landscapes as that's my portfolio i'm working on for school at the moment so here are some pictures of around my town. They are of old houses that look nice and colorful doors that pop that new houses just don't have any more.

For this weekly post I've picked a couple photos that I've taken out of school this week the first one is of a horse. I took this one well I was driving through the country looking for a good spot to take a sunset photo but that never happened. The next photo is of a plant that is starting to grow again in my front yard, I took this one on Friday as I did not have school. The next photo is of a spring daisy that is growing everywhere in my front yard. The final photo is of a chickadee, which is my favorite bird to shot. There was two chickadees that were eating grubs or something out of a tree branch and they let me come within a foot of them which is why I love these birds. I edited all of these photos in Adobe Photoshop Express. 

Spring is finally here after waiting so long for it. To celebrate spring I went out on a photo adventure in my garden and backyard. I have a pool and that is where I got the picture of the duck. It took the photos of the flowers in my garden and I used my macro lens for that.
