For day number 5 of my Newfoundland trip, we had a day in the town of Bonavista. When I woke up it was raining so we went for a little drive to see what there was to see and we first went to Cape Bonavista Lighthouse which is a National Historic Site but I did not get any pictures there because of the wind and the rain. Next, we went to Dungeon Provincial Park which is a pair of sea caves that you can see from above which is what the first picture is of. Next, we went down the road to Ellistion and Maberly which are the root cellar capitals of the world. That is what the second picture is of. The next two pictures are from after lunch when it finally stopped raining I was able to take a couple pictures of the town of Bonavista. The first of the two pictures is the Orange house there and the second of the two is the harbor. I then went for a drive to some surrounding villages and the next four pictures are from abandon buildings there, looking over Tickle Cove and of a church in Red Cliff. The last picture is from the side of the road looking over Bonavista.

I altered my plans and instead spent two nights on Godda Lake and one night on Booth Lake. Day 1: I got to the access point at 11:10am and had everything unpacked and loaded into the canoe by 11:25am. I made my way through Farm Lake (which has super clear water) to the first portage into Kitty Lake. The portage was only 100M and was the first of the trip. It took 10 minutes to double carry. I was able to do t...
