Winter Wonderland

Since the first semester is over I was able to return home and have been able to take pictures again which I have enjoyed very much. The first picture is from Orleans which is a suburb near Ottawa. I was visiting my girlfriend and her family when I was there and we went out for a walk and stumbled upon this stream which was framed perfectly by the trees. The rest of the pictures are all from Stratford and more specifically the lake in Stratford. The first picture from Stratford is just showing the path around the lake and the snowy landscape and semi-frozen lake. The next picture is the path that goes around the lake and it is meant to show just how many trees there are around the lake. The picture after that is displaying how the snow was covering the trees and in the picture, you can see the house and the reflection of it all on the water. The next picture I just thought looked cool as it is displaying the curve of the island in the middle of the lake and the snow in the trees. The

First Snow

The first real snow of the year has fallen and therefore it is time for first snowfall pictures. The first picture is of the cenotaph in Peterborough covered in snow. You are able to see the Canadian flag flying over the cenotaph. The second picture is the George Street United Church. I pass by this church every day and have never taken a picture until now. The third and final picture in this post is the doors to George Street United Church. I've always loved taking pictures of doors because each one is often unique and different. This one has iron hinges that spread onto the door and because it's near Christmas there are wreaths on the door as well.
