In my third day in Newfoundland, I went and saw the Terry Fox memorial where he first tipped his toe in the Atlantic ocean. Next, we went down to Cape Spear which is the most Eastern point in all of Canada. We went up to the lighthouse there which is now a National Historic Site. We then went down to Quidi Vidi and I got the classic Newfoundland picture there of the houses on the water. After that, we went back to Signal Hill to the information center which I missed the first day there and I got the best view of the St Johns harbor. Tomorrow I am leaving St Johns and going to Bonavista to hopefully see some whales or puffins
My yearly trip up to my family's "Hunt Camp" was last weekend. It was a great time seeing the family and seeing the beautiful landscape that it sits on.
